Yoga Recovery for Runners

Welcome to Yoga Recovery for Runners, the only yoga program used and endorsed by world renowned running coach Greg McMillan. This 30 minute sequence is designed for use after your run or workout to allow the tissues to adapt and re-lengthen. In this practice we work with the body in terms of active recovery and injury prevention specific to the areas of the body that tend to be over-stressed by running. This way we can enhance the long term sustainability of our athletic careers. Remember that we’re not only recovering from our last run, but preparing for our next. We’ve even included a bonus 8 minute post-run quick stretch for those days when squeezing in a full-length routine just isn’t possible. Are you ready to free your stride? Let’s get started!

They also identified some of the healthy habits they have currently, like attending sessions at @twisterssw and @PedalPower_Diff, doing their exercise routines with staff, and eating fruits and vegetables.

Congratulations to these 4 who competed in the Welsh Schools trampoline championships today. A fab day resulting in 3 Welsh Schools Champions and 1 silver medalist - and everyone qualified through to the next round. Well done girls. #trampoline #disability #tramp4all

Twisters are currently looking for more staff to join our team. We provide both Rebound therapy and Trampoline sessions from beginners to National competitors. 

We have the opportunity for qualified Rebound therapists and trampoline coaches to join our team on a part time basis (16/20 hours per week) with the possibility of leading to full time positions. 

Please check out the downloads section on our website www.twisterssw.club for job descriptions and more information. 

If you are currently not qualified, but have experience of working with people with disabilities or experience of trampolining and would be interested in gaining rebound therapy and/or UKCC trampoline qualifications whilst gaining valuable work experience with our club, please also send a covering letter with your experience and why you would be interested in working with us to aimee@twisterssw.com
Now all our classes are back up and running, we no Now all our classes are back up and running, we now have a limited number of spaces in some of our classes. These sessions and spaces will be listed over the next couple of days so keep and eye out if you’d like to try trampolining this year! 

Some of the sessions listed may only have one space left in them but we also operate a waiting list and any spaces that come up in sessions will be offered to those on the waiting lists first.
